Meet The Team

Kimiora Tanerau


Kimiora started Assisst in 2016 with the intent of offering a service that was missing in the NDIS sector. With a background in managing social work services in New Zealand she started Assisst to offer different opportunities of inclusion and community to participants and their families.

Teiana James
Operations Coordinator

Teiana is a director of Assisst .She has been involved with the development of Assisst since its conception, helping to introduce most of the administration practices used today. After some time spent in New Zealand studying psychology She has returned to Assisst as a consultant.

Laura Harvey
Support Coordinator/Psychosocial 
recovery coach

As the first point of contact for new participants, Laura is a very important part of Assisst and in constant communication with partners and plan managers to make sure we are providing you the best service we can.

Kelly Kavanagh
Administration Manager

Kelly is the first point of contact for the Assisst team. Working as the sole manager for rostering, organising, and planning supports. Kelly works closely with our employees to ensure the best support possible. 

Ngarimu Treanor
Financial Manager

Ngarimu has come to Assisst with a background in The New Zealand Army where he worked in logistics. Ngarimu's primary role at Assisst is Finance Manager. Ngarimu's other role at Assisst is working as a support worker with participants. Ngarimu facilitates males groups introducing practical life skills and role modeling.
