Meet The Team
Kimiora Tanerau
Director
Kimiora started Assisst in 2016 with the intent of offering a service that was missing in the NDIS sector. With a background in social services in New Zealand she started Assisst to offer different opportunities of inclusion and community to participants and their families.
Teiana James
Director
Teiana is a director of Assisst. She has been involved with the development of Assisst since its conception, helping to introduce administration practices used today.
Teiana has studied Psychology and is currently completing nursing studies with the intention of specializing in mental health and disabilities.


Laura Harvey
Support Coordinator/Psychosocial
recovery coach
Laura is currently completing her final year of studies as a social worker. Laura's role of support coordinator/psychosocial recovery coach means she works alongside participants and their families, supporting them to meet their NDIS goals.

Toni Treanor
Office assistant
Toni is our Assistant Coordinator which means she is the bridge between participants, their families and our staff.
Toni's role is to filter out wants and needs of participants and relay that back to our staff.
